Rajni Dronamraju is Senior Director of Charitable Giving at Genentech. She oversees Genentech’s corporate giving strategy and programs, including more than $50M per year in funding focused on advancing health equity and building diverse and inclusive careers in STEM and medicine. Rajni has led efforts to embed a focus on equity across Genentech’s charitable giving portfolio, launching signature programs in health equity – including The Resilience Effect, Genentech’s commitment to addressing childhood trauma as a root cause of healthcare disparities, and developing new grant funds designed to address systemic racism across healthcare and education. Prior to Genentech, Rajni spent five years at FSG advising major philanthropic organizations and companies on their giving strategies and programs. Rajni holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Studies from Northwestern University, and a master’s degree in International Development Management from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
