Brent Lamm

Senior Vice President and Deputy CIO at UNC Health

Brent Lamm serves as Senior Vice President and Deputy Chief Information Officer for the UNC Health System. In this role, he has responsibility for all Information Technology solutions and services, including enterprise infrastructure, application portfolio, and the IT project management office supporting the enterprise. In addition, Brent also currently serves as the Chief Analytics Officer for the system, leading the organization’s enterprise analytics and data sciences teams and services.

Prior to joining UNC, Brent served for 10+ years in various technical leadership, IT architecture, and software development roles in the Global Services and Software Group divisions of IBM. During this period, he worked extensively with clients in various industries, including financial services, health care, manufacturing, and telecommunications.

Brent holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University, and a Master of Business Administration from UNC Kenan Flagler. His areas of expertise include health analytics, clinical research informatics, and enterprise information management.
